In every case, laptop manufactures must rely on the carriers to work with their Enterprise customers to gather information on what they will order for laptops. Qualcomm has set out to make a one module solution called Gobi, which in essence has both EVDO and HSDPA and is fully backwards compatible with both technologies, thereby enabling it to be used anywhere in the world. Good news for laptop manufactures, somewhat bad news for certain carriers!! |
